Once a beauty, a meeting point of the rich who were better off. Here you came to the remote, cool beauty of the forests to spend a holiday among equals. And as this way of thinking of the elite changed over the decades so did the hotel. Luckily this place was just shut down but not brought down, so that we today can grasp an idea of hotellery of the last century.
