One of the many coal mines in the Rhein Ruhr Area of Germany. The mine had its high time in 1969. After the decision by the German state not to support and subvention coal mining in Germany any longer also this mine could not survive and had to be closed in 2011. Partly the miners were allocated to other mines. Zeche R then had been stripped down very fast. Today only a few buildings are still there.
All pictures are in reduced quality for faster loading and lesser use of storage space. All originals are crystal clear and sharp.
